DR MILLER IS ENGLISH SPEAKING.
In the event that your client does not speak fluent English,
he/ she will be required to be accompanied by someone that can speak fluent English
and is able to interpret the conversation between Doctor and Patient.
If no interpreter is present and a new appointment has to be rescheduled there will still be a charge of R6342 for that appointment.
DEFENDANTS,
Please instruct the plaintiff attorney, when serving the notices, that if the client does not speak English fluently, to let you know in advance. So that you have time to request the fund to provide an interpreter. on their behalf.
The client has a legal right to communicate in his home language. If he is unable to express his case adequately, we will not proceed with the appointment.
This will be charged as a no-show, even if they have come, as the appointment has taken a time slot that could have been for someone who was prepared.,
OFFICE PROCEDURE
No deposit is required prior to the patient being seen by the doctor.
Dr Miller dictates his report the same day that the client is seen.
All reports are ready to be dispatched within 10 days of the client being seen.
If you need a report urgently, a special request must be made prior.
Once the report is ready, an invoice will be sent, please provide a email address where all correspondence will get to the correct person.
The original report is sent to the accounts department for safe keeping
When the payment has been made , please send proof of payment to the accounts department.
Once your payment has been cleared , your report will be emailed to you as soon as the payment has cleared.
NO REPORTS WILL BE SENT WITHOUT PAYMENT CLEARING.
DOCUMENTATION
documentation is to be delivered to our offices either by hand or courier no less than 10 days in advance. Dr. Miller needs time to read and familiarise himself with the case.
IF DOCUMENTS ARE NOT SENT ON REQUEST. THE APPOINTMENT WILL BE CANCELLED. WE CANNOT HOLD A PROFESSIONAL INTERVIEW AND EXAMINATION WITHOUT SUPPORTING CASE DOCUMENTATION.
Reports are dictated and sent for typing the same day as the appointment. Documents received even a day later are problematic, there may be critical information that would change the reported outcome, In that case, an addendum to the original report will be required, thus incurring an extra charge.
You can appreciate we cannot be expected to print all documents in all cases, therefore there is a standing rule:
Documents may be emailed, providing that they all scanned the same way, and Dr. Miller does not need to keep rotating the view. If they are incorrectly scanned, he will print them all off and charge R5 per page.
Any documents faxed that require printing that is more than 12 pages, will incur a printing charge of R5 per page.
